Government of Gujarat assistance schemes for non-reserved category students

Various assistance schemes for the students included in the non-reserved category are being formulated by the Government of Gujarat. The forms of these help schemes are being filled nowadays, among which the number one meal assistance scheme ,According to the Meal Bill Assistance Scheme monthly Rs.200 per month for students up to a maximum of Rs.12,000 per month. Medical-Dental Paramedical Technical, such as higher education students who do not live in government and government donated hostels, are eligible for this scheme. Social Trust  9 10 girls will get benefit of this scheme.

As per the Coaching Assistance Scheme, students who have 70% or more in standard 10 if they keep the science in eleven, 15000 coaching assistance annually for 11 12 science.For competitive examinations like jee, gujcat n,Rs 20,000 per year for coaching, standard 11 12 students of science are eligible to receive this benefit only once.

Standard 12 passes in standard 12 with result of 60% or more results. All students will get educational assistance of Rs. 20,000 per annum for preparation of competitive examination. This assistance will be available only once.

Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Board (GSHSEB) recently announced that it will now follow the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exam pattern.

The new board exam pattern will come into effect from March 2020. Further, GSHSEB will also make changes in the exam pattern of Class 9 and 11 (Science).

List of changes in board exam paper:

1. The board will scrap the Optical Marked Reader (OMR) sheets in the board exams, which were used for the multiple choice questions (MCQ) carrying 50 per cent weightage.
2. 50 per cent MCQs will be replaced with 20 per cent objective questions that has to be answered on the answer sheets itself.
3. The Class 10 board exams weightage will now be 80 per cent instead of 70 per cent.
4. Also, the school-based comprehensive evaluation system has been replaced with internal evaluation.
5. The internal evaluation will now cover 5 marks each for the first exam, notebook submission and 5 marks for subject enrichment activity.
6. As per reports, the 50 per cent MCQs on OMR sheets was introduced in 2011 when the annual examination system was replaced with semester system.

In the new session, teachers will have to knock at the rate of the village sarpanch and other villagers to increase the number of children in government schools across the state.  They will have to know the facilities and programs to be run by the education department in government schools.  Not only will there be any special banners in the school premises and outside, which will also have to show all the above facilities and activities.

                                     

 On 31st March, admission ceremony will be started in all schools, for which Haryana School Education Project Council and Education Department have started preparations.  Due to this, the State Project Director of the Council issued orders to all District Project coordinators and issued the letter.  It has been clarified in the release that the test results will be issued on March 31, with which the admission ceremony will be started, but preparations for this will start from March 23.  Monitoring of the entrance festival where the district project coordinator has to do, the school teachers will have to reach from the Sarpanch and other parents in the villages surrounding them, where they will have to know about facilities and programs in the schools.  They have to make clear that the government schools are not behind any of the private schools.  By introducing them to the right to education, parents need to call upon their children to register in government schools.  Schools will also have to show all the strengths of the school on information boards and campaign will be organized to make the public aware of it.

 Merge was done to 24 primary schools across the district last year

 If the number is less than 20, the school is merged in the surrounding school according to the rules.  In the district, only 24 such schools were merged in the last year and there were more than 300 such schools across the state.  In order to save such schools further and to continue the school facility according to the RTE, the department has instructed the government schools teachers to run an awareness campaign on the lines of private schools.

 Attempts to increase the number of children, will be run Campaign: DEO

 Deo Arun Ashri says that due to efforts to increase the number of children in government schools, teachers will undertake village-village awareness campaign.  Going to the teacher's parents, informing about the facilities and successes given by the school and department, inviting their children to enroll in these schools.  This is being done by the department.  At the same time, district project coordinator Ramdia Gagat says that this time efforts will be made to increase the number of children in schools.
